Press Credential Applications
Press credential applications for the Mexican Day Parade NYC 2026 will be accepted for approved media representatives covering the parade for news, editorial, photography, video, radio, television, digital, and broadcast purposes.
Credential applications must be submitted online only. No hard-copy or mail-in applications will be accepted.

Who May Apply
Press credentials are intended for members of the working media who are actively assigned to cover the Mexican Day Parade NYC for recognized media outlets.
Eligible applicants may include:

Producers
Radio representatives
Digital media reporters
Credentialed press representatives
Press credentials are issued for news coverage and editorial purposes only.
Application Requirements
Each media applicant must submit the following:
1. Letter of Assignment / Authorization
A letter on the official letterhead of the media outlet confirming the applicant’s assignment to cover the Mexican Day Parade NYC 2026.
The letter should clearly identify the applicant’s role, such as reporter, journalist, photographer, videographer, camera operator, producer, announcer, or crew member.
2. Digital Photo
A passport-style digital photo for each person requesting a credential.
Photo requirements:
Square format
Minimum 600 × 600 pixels
JPG, TIFF, EPS, PNG, or PDF format
Clear head-and-shoulders image
No sunglasses or obstructed face
3. Media Identification
A digital copy of the applicant’s media outlet identification card, valid press ID, or valid NYPD press credential, if applicable.

Important Credential Notice
Submission of a press credential application does not guarantee approval.
All applications are subject to review and verification by the Mexican Day Parade NYC committee. Approved applicants will receive confirmation and instructions regarding credential pickup.
Credentials will not be mailed in advance.
Credential pickup details, including date, time, and location, will be provided only to approved and verified media representatives.
Broadcasting From the Parade Route
Media outlets interested in broadcasting, live streaming, setting up cameras, using elevated platforms, running cables, securing power, or placing technical equipment along the parade route must make all necessary arrangements in advance.
Broadcast and technical setup may require coordination with city agencies, utility providers, building owners, production teams, or parade operations.
Media outlets are responsible for securing any required technical services, permits, power, connectivity, equipment placement, and safety approvals.
Media Conduct & Access
Approved media credentials provide access only to designated media areas and approved parade coverage zones.
All credentialed media must follow instructions from parade staff, NYPD, city agencies, public safety officials, and parade operations personnel.
Credentials may be revoked for unsafe behavior, unauthorized access, disruption of parade operations, misuse of credentials, or failure to follow official instructions.
