The Mexican Day Parade NYC is one of New York City’s most important Mexican cultural celebrations, honoring Mexican heritage, family, music, folkloric dance, art, tradition, and community pride in Manhattan.
Founded in 1994 by Patricia Hernández and Mariano Hernández, the parade has grown from a community vision into a major cultural tradition that celebrates Mexican identity and the contributions of Mexican and Mexican American families across New York City and the tristate area.
